WhatsApp Accidentally rolled out New Feature for Windows Users


The popular messaging app is well-known for
rolling out new features accidentally. Now, the Facebook-owned app is coming up with the awesome feature ‘Reply Privately’ for windows users. This feature allows the user to send a private message to the particular person in a group. This is one of the most awaited features from WhatsApp.

In these recent days, WhatsApp introduced many amazing features. “Delete for Everyone” which lets you delete the accidentally sent messages. After WhatsApp came up with the feature of replying to a particular message, many users requested to add the feature to reply privately to a person in the group.
Accordingly, the Facebook-owned app is satisfying the demand of users and accidentally rolled out the Reply Privately feature in the beta update of windows phone. The @WABetaInfo confirms that the developers have wrongly updated the feature to beta update.

WABetaInfo says “In the new WhatsApp beta for Windows Phone 2.17.344 the private reply feature is disabled. Probably WhatsApp has wrongly enabled it in 2.17.342”.



However, the feature was again enabled in the v2.17.348 beta update. The v2.17.342 is a new beta update for the windows phone users. Alongside the Reply privately feature there includes a new UI for the voice calls.
WABetaInfo further says that this feature is unique to the group chats. The users can find this option in the pop-up menu that comes in with a long press on the message. Without the need to visit the individual chat box, the user can directly send a private message. The feature is still in the development process and will be made available to users in the near future.
WABetaInfo also shared the new WhatsApp web version designed for the desktop. Also, WhatsApp is testing a new feature that lets to unblock PIP mode with a single tap.
