While Samsung Galaxy S9 in UAE and Galaxy S9 Plus aren’t made official yet,
rumors are already in the store about the alleged Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Apart from the impressive design, it boasts a powerful performance. This phablet-sized smartphone ships in with immersive features, good camera quality and huge storage that is sufficient enough to save data.
The South Korean giant is further planning to launch the smartphone with an optical fingerprint scanner. The Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus in Dubai were hoping to get this optical fingerprint sensor. But due to some manufacturer deadlines, it just opted for the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Design
The recent patent by Samsung at WIPO indicate that the display screen is much larger than ever before. The front end will suggest by a display screen and gives space for even fingerprint sensor and front camera. However, it is not sure if this model will be implemented for the Note 9 or for the next upcoming models. If the South Korean giant does not implement this new model, then we could probably see the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 in UAE featuring the same display & design as Galaxy Note 8.
The device may sport 6.3-inches Quad HD Super AMOLED panel with 18:9 aspect ratio, 2960 X 1440 screen resolution and pixel density of 521 pixels per inch. The Samsung may also use a new type of metal named as Metal12 for this upcoming handset. It may be a combination of Aluminum alloy and magnesium which weighs less but tough to hold. It is likely to feature the under display fingerprint sensor. As with Samsung Galaxy S9, there is even a chance for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 to have the iris scanner integrated.
Rumored Specs and Features
From the most trusted sources, there are some handful set of early rumors about the specs and features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 in Dubai. It almost features the same display as its predecessor Note 8 with a 6.4-inches 4K infinity display and a fingerprint sensor embedded into the screen. The recent patents filed suggest that the South Korean giant is working on something different than the iPhone X like a notch.
Samsung recent patent suggests the all screen display with a bar of tiny holes for IR sensor and front camera. Furthermore, renders show it to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. This was shown off by Synaptics of with the so-called “Clear ID FS9500 optical sensor” that can read the fingerprint under the display. As for the facial recognition technology, it is not sure whether Samsung will integrate it into the Note 9. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth GPS, NFC, 4G and USB Type-C.
