Introducing the New Samsung Galaxy A8 & A8 Plus With Dual Front Camera

Until now, there are several rumours rolling around
about mid-range flagship smartphones, Samsung Galaxy A8 and A8 Plus. Instead of sticking on the regular A- series titles, Samsung preferred to launch Galaxy A8 and A8 Plus skipping in the series. Finally, the rumours have come true.
The South Korean giant made the launch of these two flagship smartphones official. Samsung has not yet revealed the availability of the devices, but we think that they will hit the market from January. We may have a first look at these mid-range devices at CES 2018 show.
As per Junho Park, Vice President of Global Product Planning, Mobile Communications Business at Samsung Electronics  “With the release of the Galaxy A8(2018) and A8+(2018), we’re bringing our customers’ favorite features from our flagship smartphones, such as the Infinity Display and our first Dual Front Camera with Live Focus, to our Galaxy A series, which is already known for its premium design,”

As for the specifications, both the devices hold almost similar features. The only difference we can find is in terms of display screen size, storage and battery. The Galaxy A8 has 5.6 inches full HD plus Super AMOLED display with 1080 X 2220 screen resolution. On another hand, the Galaxy A8 Plus sports a little bigger screen at 6.0 inches with the same resolution. Both the devices come up with infinity display with 18:9 aspect ratio.
The Galaxy A8 and A8 Plus are powered by Octa-core processor and come in two storage variants 32GB and 64GB.  It is paired with 64GB of extendable internal storage and 4GB of RAM.
The 3000 mAh battery backs up the Galaxy A8 while the plus variant holds a 3500 mAh battery. Both devices run on Android 7.1.1 and support fast charging and USB Type-C port.

On the camera front, both A8 and A8 Plus sports same camera setup. One of the key features is dual front camera setup. The setup houses two front cameras with 16MP and 8MP sensors at f/1.9 aperture. The users also have an option to switch from one sensor to another depending on the necessity. The main advantage of having a dual front camera is its ability to capture images with blurred background. Apart from this, it also features advanced Live Focus that allows adjusting the bokeh effect.
Samsung new mid-range phones feature a dual front camera along with infinity display. With the additional features, the Galaxy A series looks more stylish and convenient than before. The devices will be available for sale from January. It may come with different colour shades as in Black, Grey, Gold, Orchid, and Blue.
The expected Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) price in UAE is AED 1699.
The expected Samsung Galaxy A8 Plus (2018) price in UAE is AED 1899.
