Talking about the features, it includes enhancements in Bluetooth audio, reading mode, vibration and several other UI improvements. Unfortunately, the face ID feature that was expected to come with the new build isn’t available in the latest update.
Teja Naga Bharan, a OnePlus staff member said “We are super excited to announce another Open Beta Program for the OnePlus 5 today! This Open Beta build based on Android 8.0 for the OnePlus 5 is available for download now”.
Though the second beta is not a major update, it supports f4v video format. It even ensures less time in deleting larger files in File Manager. The issues in the launcher with the shortcut and widget were fixed. The bugs with the picture in picture mode usage in OnePlus 5 were also fixed with the second beta.
Since it is not a stable version, it ought to have other bugs. To download the Open beta build 2 update you can visit the Company’s forum post. Ensure to read all the instructions before making it available on the phone.
However, OnePlus 5 will be discontinued to support the sales for the latest flagship OnePlus 5T in UAE. The Chinese company recently launched the stars wars special Edition of OnePlus 5T.
